Embedded Systems Engineer II

AB Tech Solution is looking for an energetic and experienced embedded systems engineer to join our design and development team!

Responsibilities

Starting with product requirements and specifications from marketing, design and develop microprocessor hardware and software for a variety of markets, including robotics, medical devices, and industrial automation. You will be responsible for insuring that the requirements are met on-time and within the expected budget.

Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited university.
A minimum of 4 years' experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying hardware and software for embedded systems. Experience designing systems with UART, SPI, and I2C communication peripherals is absolutely required.
Demonstrated proficiency with the "C" programming language on an embedded systems platform.

Desired Experience

Proficiency with Microchip PIC and TI MSP430 processors.
Proficiency with C++ and object-oriented techniques.
Excellent written and oral skills using the English language.

DeltaV Controls Engineer II

AB Tech Solution is looking for an energetic and experienced DeltaV controls engineer to join our design and development team!

Minimum Qualifications

A minimum of 4 years' experience designing, developing, configuring, and commissioning Emerson DeltaV process control systems, including:

• Faceplate/Graphics
• PID loop design and tuning
• Control Logic
• I/O configuration and checkout
• Recipe / Batch control
• Historian & Reporter

Knowledge of fieldbus systems such as FF, EtherNet/IP, HART, and ASi.

Knowledge of PlantWeb required.

GMP and Validation experience required.

Desired Skills

Knowledge and experience with Segment and Zone design techniques
Good English-language written and oral skills
Knowledge of FB systems ASi FF Profi
Design and implement control strategies for process control related changes to manufacturing operations.
GMP and validation experience desired.

*Experience with XL Reporter/DeltaV Reporter is desired

Sr. Systems Engineer to design, develop, implement and support customers' DeltaV process control and automation systems for continuous and batch processes. Design, develop, configure and implement the DeltaV process control system for continuous and batch processes according to customer standards. Provide engineering services for system configuration including the development of graphics, I/O configuration, I/O checkout, and control logic for automation projects. Performing services for customers including alarm analysis, software upgrades, loop tuning, etc. Data management tasks and solutions including historical data captures, date integration, etc. Strong programming skills with the Emerson DeltaV control system in conceptual design; configuration of equipment modules, control modules, batch recipe procedures, operation procedures and phases

*Using MiMic simulation software for automation system software acceptance testing and operator training before start-up

Implement and deliver overall PlantWeb and system integration solutions
Extensive knowledge and experience with instrumentation, P&IDs, ISA standards, INtools, SCADA, DCS and control system
5+ years experience with DeltaV DCS (PCSD/PBL standards, configuration, HMI, Fieldbus, OPC, Modbus, and Serial interfaces)
